A diffuser should make your home smell wonderful without asking for your attention. That is the idea behind the Lephrone app: a free app that turns your Lephrone diffuser into a real smart-home device. Set it once, and the scent is there when you wake up, when you come home and when guests arrive, and gone when you leave.
Whether you have just unboxed your H300 or you are still deciding, this guide shows you how the app works, how to connect in a few minutes, and what it can do.
Why We Built the Lephrone App
Many diffusers call themselves “smart” because they come with an app. Too often that app works over Bluetooth only, drops the connection, and stops working the moment your phone leaves the room. A schedule that depends on your phone being nearby is not really a schedule.
We wanted something better: a diffuser that connects to your Wi-Fi and simply works, whether you are on the sofa, at the office or on the other side of the world. And we wanted the app to serve you, not a refill subscription. The Lephrone app is free, with no subscription and no paid features.
What You Need Before You Start
- A Lephrone H300 diffuser, plugged in.
- Your smartphone with the Lephrone app installed (coming to the App Store and Google Play).
- Your home Wi-Fi network name and password.
No router settings needed. Lephrone diffusers support both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi and connect to whichever band your router offers. Many smart-home devices support only 2.4 GHz, which is one of the most common reasons setup fails; with Lephrone you do not have to split your network.
Connect Your Diffuser in a Few Minutes
- Download the Lephrone app and create your account.
- Add a device and choose your H300.
- Allow the permissions the app asks for. They are used only to find and connect to your diffuser.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password. The diffuser joins your network.
- Name your diffuser, for example “Living room” or “Bedroom”, and you are done.
The whole process takes a couple of minutes. From then on the diffuser stays connected through your router, so it keeps working even when your phone is switched off.

Schedules That Fit Your Week
Your week is not the same every day, and your diffuser should not be either. In the app you can:
- choose which days of the week a schedule runs;
- add several time slots in one day, for example before you wake up, when you come home and in the evening;
- set a different intensity for each slot: stronger in the living room when guests arrive, softer at bedtime.
Because the diffuser stores the schedule and runs on your Wi-Fi, it keeps going even when your phone is not at home.
Scan Your Oil in a Second
Every Lephrone oil bottle can be scanned with your phone. Open the app, choose to add a scent and bring your phone close to the bottle. The Ready to Scan screen appears, a moment later you see the check mark, and that is it.
The app now knows exactly which scent is in your diffuser. It shows the name on your dashboard and opens its scent notes: what you smell first, the heart of the blend and what stays at the end. No typing names, no searching through lists, no guessing which bottle you put in last week.
Your Scent Library and Dashboard
Every Lephrone oil you scan is saved to your library, together with its scent notes. You can leave your own comments too: where you liked it, what time of year it suits, who in the family loves it. Over time the library becomes your personal scent diary.
Using an oil from another brand? Add it to your dashboard yourself and control it the same way. The library holds Lephrone scents with their full notes; the dashboard is yours to fill with anything you like.
Oil Level and Smart Alerts
No more lifting the bottle to check. The app shows how much oil is left and how quickly you are using it, so you can see how your schedules and intensity affect consumption. When the level gets low, you get a notification in time to reorder, before the room goes quiet.
Voice Control and Smart Home
The Lephrone app works with Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Apple Home. Link your account once and your diffuser appears alongside your lights and speakers, so you can switch it on with your voice or add it to your routines, for example a “Good evening” scene that dims the lights and starts the diffuser.
One Account for the Whole Family
Share access with everyone in your home, so anyone can adjust the scent without passing a phone around. Add a diffuser to every room and manage them all in one place: something fresh in the kitchen, something calm in the bedroom, something welcoming in the hallway. Freedom to Choose Your Oils
This is the part we are most proud of. Many smart diffusers are built around proprietary cartridges: the app is the hook, and the real business is the refill subscription you cannot leave. We took the opposite path.
Lephrone diffusers have no cartridges. Fill them with our oils, with oils from another brand, or with something you discovered on holiday. Lephrone is a small, motivated team based in New York. We started with a simple frustration: beautiful scent at home should not mean a noisy plastic box, a water tank to clean or a subscription you cannot cancel.

Which Devices Work With the App
Today the Lephrone app works with the Lephrone diffuser H300. Support for the rest of our diffuser range is planned for early 2027, and new features will arrive through free app updates.
Tips for Getting the Most From the App
- Name each diffuser by room. It makes voice commands and family sharing much easier.
- Scan every new bottle. Your library and oil tracking stay accurate, and you build a record of the scents you love.
- Start low. Cold-air diffusion releases oil at full strength, so begin at a low intensity and raise it step by step.
- Build a weekday and a weekend schedule. Most homes run on two rhythms.
- Keep the scent subtle at night. Use a softer intensity for bedroom slots, and let the last cycle finish before you sleep.
- Write notes in your library. Next season you will know exactly which scent you loved and where.
- Watch your usage. If oil runs out faster than you expected, shorten the slots or lower the intensity.
